プロフィール

現在、京都大学工学部地球工学科土木工学コース4回生。卒業後は大学院に進学し、引き続き土木工学を専攻予定。

在日約4年間で、幼稚園児から60歳以上の年輩の方に及ぶあらゆる年代の方々に英語を指導。2016年4月よりKECにて勤務。英語指導歴の中で、KECでの指導が自分にとって最高の経験となっている。

Samuel is currently a fourth year student in Kyoto University. He is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. After his graduation next year, Mr. Wanjala is expecting to go into graduate school to get a Masters in the same field.

Samuel has been living in Japan for close to four years. In that time, he has taught English to people of all ages, from kindergarten students to elderly students over 60 years old. He started teaching at KEC in April of 2016 and so far it has been the best experience he has had teaching English.

私は様々な方に対する指導経験がありますので、レッスンの速度や語彙を容易に調整することができ、受講生の皆様により満足していただき、英語によりいっそう興味を持ってもらうことができます。私は常に、新しい受講生にお会いすることを楽しみにしています。といいますのは、受講生一人一人によって長所や短所が異なり、どの受講生も皆、教室に新しいものをもたらしてくれるということが私にはわかっているからです。というわけで、近々教室でお会いすることを願っています。

Having taught a wide variety of students, I can easily adjust my teaching speed and vocabulary to make the students feel more comfortable and be more interested in the language. I always look forward to meeting new students because I find that each student is unique in their strengths and weakness and they all have something new to bring to the class. That being said, I hope to see you soon in my classroom!
